Project GLIMPSE is more than just identifying gifted learners. Our goal is to use transformational techniques to fully equip and support gifted students in having vision to "glimpse" a promising future which they look forward to with anticipation. To do this, we both attend and host gifted conferences nationwide.
Supporting Students
We provide personalized mentoring and guidance to teachers who will in turn help students explore their interests and passions. Teachers will learn the necessary expertise to work closely with students to identify their strengths and goals, and assist them in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths. We believe that every student has unique potential, and we are committed to helping them unlock it.
Professional Development
Through Project GLIMPSE, we are able to offer a wide range of workshops and trainings to enhance teachers' skills and knowledge in the area of gifted education. Our trainings feature the latest gifted strategies and methodologies shared by renown experts in the field. We strive to equip teachers with practical tools that they can immediately implement in their classrooms. Thanks to the Javits funding, a groups of teachers from Osceola County are pursuing gifted certifications and/or masters degrees at UCF.
Conferences
We understand the importance of networking, building connections, and staying up to date on the latest trends in the field. That's why we attend global and national gifted conferences so we can interact with and learn from professionals from around the world. These opportunities allow our team to gain valuable insights and expand our professional network. We believe that exposure to real-world experiences is crucial for our project's success.
